NetWay Solutions deployed Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) at the Padma Bridge weigh scales and toll plazas. The system captures both standard and Bengali-font licence plates at high speed and under poor visibility.
By instantly recognising vehicle identities and integrating with weigh-in-motion (WIM) sensors and ticketing databases, it enables free-flow traffic monitoring and strict enforcement of load regulations.
Alongside ANPR, NetWay implemented RFID Electronic Toll Collection (ETC): high-speed RFID tags on vehicle windshields are read as vehicles pass, enabling non-stop tolling that reduces congestion and automates revenue collection.
