This policy explains what information NetWay Solutions ("NetWay", "we", "us") collects through netway.com.bd, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We are a technology integrator based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We keep the information we collect to the minimum we need to answer your enquiries and deliver projects.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote, book a site survey, ask for a product price or send a message, we collect:

your name and phone number;
your email address and company name, if you provide them;
your message, and the solution or product you asked about.

Please do not include passwords, bank details or other sensitive information in a form. We never need them to reply to an enquiry.

Information collected automatically

With each enquiry: the page you sent it from, your IP address and your browser type. We use these to understand which pages bring enquiries and to block spam.
Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data (IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser) to keep the site secure and working.
Analytics: if we enable Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, they collect information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and approximate location, using cookies. We use this only in aggregate, to improve the website.

How we use your information

to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations and arrange site surveys;
to plan, deliver and support projects you engage us for;
to keep a record of our communication with you;
to protect the website against spam, abuse and security threats;
to improve our website and services.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to send marketing newsletters. If we contact you about a related service, it will be in connection with your enquiry or an existing project, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies: a session cookie and a security token that protect the enquiry forms from forgery. They are removed when you close your browser or after a short period.
Your theme choice: if you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is stored in your own browser (local storage). It is never sent to us.
Analytics cookies: only if analytics is enabled, as described above.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, but you may need to reload a form before sending it.

Third-party services

Google Maps: the map on our contact page is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies when the map loads.
WhatsApp: if you contact us through a WhatsApp button, the conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
Hosting and email: our website and email are hosted by a service provider that processes data on our behalf to run these services.

Links to manufacturers, social media or other websites are governed by those websites' own privacy policies.

Who we share information with

Your enquiry is seen by NetWay staff who need it to help you. We may share necessary details with:

manufacturers or distributors, when we need to register a project, check stock or arrange warranty for equipment you are buying from us;
our service providers (hosting and email) under appropriate confidentiality;
authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for up to three years after our last contact with you, unless a project, warranty or legal obligation requires us to keep them longer. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.

How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Enquiries are stored in a protected database that only authorised staff can access through a password-protected admin panel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what information we hold about you;
correct information that is wrong;
delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
stop contacting you.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and organisations. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
